The Robur GAHP-W water cooled Absorption Heat Pump is a gas
unit providing simultaneously hot water up to 65 °C and
chilled water down to 7 °C. The absorption cycle of the
Robor GAHP-W is water cooled on both condenser/absorber side
and evaporator side, and recovering low temperature heat from
water sources (lakes, rivers, ponds, etc.) or ground sources
it reaches heating gas efficiencies up to above 150%.
The Robur GAHP-W unit makes a wide variety of convenient
applications available, for example:
- suitable for hotels, hospitals, resorts and spas where
consume the central hot water system about 30 cubic meters
per day or have more than 80 rooms;
- low temperature heating systems, where there are available
renewable energy sources as lake water, river water or ground
water;
- heating systems recovering heating from heat sources with
low/medium temperature (from -2 °C up to 45 °C).
Depending upon needs. Robor GAHP-W can be used in the following
way:
- heating only with heat recovery from a cold source;
- simultaneous or alternative heating and cooling;
Robur GAHP-W Gas Fired Absorption Heat Pump is available
in two different versions:
- GAHP-W (Water-Water) This version is designed to
recovery heat from water sources and to be used when heating
and cooling is required simultaneously. This version can
produce hot water up to 65 °C and chilled water down
to 7 °C.
- GAHP-W-LB (Ground-Water) This version is designed
to recovery heat from the ground. The ground heat can be
recovered by using the geothermal - closed loop - system.
This ground version can produce chilled water down to -5
°C and hot water up to 60 °C.
