PV Battery Charging System

Leonics has designed, installed and set up this system for demonstration and research on charging battery from central solar panels. Because of the different types of PV modules, the modules efficiency is varied. The DC power are generated and delivered to the charge controller to charge the battery, including the Maximum Power Point Tracking (MPPT) that extract the maximum available power from PV modules for controlling the higher efficient charging. There are four types of module that used the different technology:

1. Mono-Crystalline PV modules
2. Poly-Crystalline PV modules
3. Amorphous PV modules
4. Hybrid PV modules

The system has been installed and applied in Energy Park, School of Renewable Energy Technology, Naresuan University, Phitsanulok.
