Meteorological System

Leonics has designed, installed and set up this system for collecting the solar radiation data and meteorological measurement parameters. The system is mounted on a tower at a height of 10 meters, and consists of global horizontal solar radiation, total solar radiation on a tilted plane, diffuse solar radiation, wind speed and direction, dry bulb temperature and relative humidity and barometric pressure connecting to the data logger for recording the solar radiation data and meteorological measurement parameters. The data logger transmits outputs to the computer via RS-232 interface for displaying real time data on the monitor and the computer can transmit all data to display on signboard via RS-422 interface.

The system has been installed and applied in Energy Park, School of Renewable Energy Technology, Naresuan University, Phitsanulok.
