PV Testing System

Leonics has designed, installed and set up this system for measuring the I-V characteristics of PV modules, which were placed outdoor for testing. The types of modules can be testes as the following:

1. Mono-Crystalline PV modules
2. Poly-Crystalline PV modules
3. Amorphous PV modules

The reference cell is used to compare the I-V characteristics of each type of PV modules. The reference cell is controlled the temperature by Thermo electric to keep the stable temperature of PV modules. And the solar tracker is included in this system for tracking the solar orientation all time to provide the highly accurate I-V characteristics of PV modules.

The system has been installed and applied in Energy Park, School of Renewable Energy Technology, Naresuan University, Phitsanulok.
