Solar Powered Absorption Refrigerator

Leonics has designed, installed and set up this system for cooling the vegetable and fruit refrigerators or medicine and vaccine storage refrigerators for remote areas where no electricity grid is available.
This system generates the DC power from the solar panels and store in batteries. When the heater is powered from the battery, it will convert power to heat and transfer it to refrigerate. The advantages of this system are no moving parts so there is tolerant and minimal maintenance requirement, which is suitable for remote area applications such as forest, island, hill including health center and research center.

The system has been installed and applied at Energy Park, School of Renewable Energy Technology, Naresuan University, Phitsanulok.
