200 kWp PV Diesel Generator Hybrid Minigrid System

Leonics has designed this hybrid solar system to generate electricity, which combines diesel generator with PV array to power minigrid and operates with Hybrid System Control Command Unit (HCCU) and Telemonitoring for remote power monitoring and control, which can display real-time and event log data for tracking and analyzing the system operation and efficiency any time at any place via www.leonics-moc.com.

200 kWp PV Diesel Generator Hybrid Minigrid System has been installed at Banggi Island, the biggest island of Sabah, Malaysia to apply to generate electricity for Main Malaysian energy provider Tenaga Nasional Berhad (TNB). This hybrid solar system is regarded as the largest hybrid power system in Malaysia, which is used for village electrification to power 7 remote area villages in Banggi Island.

* Hybrid System Control Command Unit (HCCU) is designed for remote control and real-time monitoring the hybrid energy system. HCCU is a part of our telemonitoring service which can monitor real time generated energy from PV, wind turbine or other energy sources such as diesel generator and other system operating data. It also can record and display the event log data. These can help the user to analyze the produced energy, consumed energy and other system operating data for evaluating the system operation for preventive and corrective maintenance. The system operating data will be transferred to Leonics Monitoring and Operation Control Center at Bangkok, Thailand via GSM and GPRS network that allows the authorized customer to access their system for remote power monitoring and control their hybrid energy system any time at any place via www.leonics-moc.com.
