Leonics has designed,
installed and set up the
meteorological system for collecting
solar radiation data and meteorological measurement parameters.
The system is mounted on a tower at a height of 10 meters and
consists of global horizontal solar radiation detector, global
tilt solar radiation detector, diffuse solar radiation detector,
anemometer for measuring wind speed and direction, dry-bulb
thermometer for measuring dry-bulb temperature and relative
humidity, and barometer for measuring barometric pressure. Meteorological
system is connected to data logger for recording solar radiation
data and meteorological measurement parameters. Then data logger
transmits outputs to computer via RS-232 interface for displaying
real time data on monitor. Computer also transmits all data
to display on signboard via RS-422 interface.
Meteorological system has been installed and applied in Energy
Park, School of Renewable Energy Technology, Naresuan University,
Phitsanulok.
