Solar Farm or PV Power Farm System is the large scale solar grid tie system that can produce large scale of electricity. PV Power Farm System includes grid connected central inverter that connects directly to the utility grid and converts direct current (DC) output from PV arrays into alternative current (AC). The generated electricity can be sold to the utility grid according to the Ministry of Energy’s promotion policy of electricity generating from sustainable energy.

PV Power Farm Project has been constructed by Bangkok Solar Power Co., Ltd. and Leonics has been installed more than 100 units of 60 kW APOLLO GTP-503 (Grid connected central inverter) in the project, where located in many areas (i.e. Chachoengsao, Ang Thong, Phetchaburi, Udon Thani and Nakhon Sawan provinces) that totals more than 7 MWp of PV arrays in capacity and produces up to 27,855,552 kWh per year in capacity. Moreover, Leonics plans to install the inverters in other provinces nationwide.
