Leonics has designed, installed and set up the PV testing system for measuring I-V characteristics of PV modules under exposure testing. The different types of PV cell and module technologies; monocrystalline silicon PV module, polycrystalline silicon PV module and amorphous silicon PV module, are measured the I-V characteristics of each type of PV module.
A reference cell is used to compare I-V characteristics of each type of PV module and controlled the temperature by thermoelectric sensor to retain PV module's temperature within specific temperature. And solar tracking system is included in PV testing system for tracking solar orientation all time to provide more precise measurement of I-V characteristics of PV modules.

PV Testing System has been installed and applied in Energy Park, School of Renewable Energy Technology, Naresuan University, Phitsanulok.
