Our Story
LEONICS Co., Ltd. was founded in 1991 by a group of Thai engineers who recognized the importance of backup power and renewable energy systems for Thailand — starting with the manufacturing of True Online UPS for hospitals, banks, and data centers.
In 2010 we expanded into Solar PV and Microgrid systems — serving customers domestically and exporting to 18 countries across 5 continents — SEDA Malaysia Approved and a HOMER Energy Partner.
In 2018 we launched GEMS (Green Community Energy Management System) at Bangchak — an isolated microgrid running AI, IoT, Big Data and a blockchain energy trading platform on a 1 MWh lithium battery, the largest in operation in Thailand as of 2018 — the foundation of our GridMind AI Platform launched in 2024.
In 2024 we launched four new products set to transform Thailand's Energy Storage industry: Modular PCS, GridMind AI, MTP-620x Hybrid Inverter, and SCM/SCB Series Solar Charge Controller for DC Coupling.
Today LEONICS is a Thai-owned limited company with THB 50M registered capital, a 6,000 m² manufacturing facility, and a team of 195 employees — delivering 693+ reference sites across 18 countries · 1,000+ MW installed renewable / power conversion capacity · 100+ MWh BESS and 31+ MW PCS & DG.
