Built For
Rural electrification

Overview

NODEX exists to cut the capital and operating cost of rural electrification — less transmission and distribution to build, less freight for crew and materials, fewer installation hours on site, and lower transmission loss between source and user. The network is assembled from three kinds of node: a Power Node (bidirectional inverter with solar charge controller and battery), an Energy Node (solar charge controller with battery) and a Storage Node (battery only), working alongside a variable-speed DC generator. Up to 10 Power Nodes run in parallel to raise total system power and improve distribution reliability. Three sizes are available — single-phase 5–6 kVA, three-phase 15–18 kVA, and three-phase 60 kVA.

Key Features

  • Three node types — Power Node (bidirectional inverter + charge controller + battery) · Energy Node (charge controller + battery) · Storage Node (battery)
  • Single-phase: a 5/6 kVA Power Node with a 6 kWp solar charge controller and 12 kWh of LFP · Energy Node 6 kWp + 16.8 kWh · Storage Node 19.2 kWh
  • Three-phase: PNx-151800/s and PNx-181800/s at 15 and 18 kVA, holding 16.2 and 19.2 kVA for one hour, at 380/400/415 Vac
  • Three-phase 60 kVA: Power Node PNi-600000 · Energy Node ENi-3070/h with a 28.9 kWp charge controller and 256 V 280 Ah LFP · Storage Node SNi-70/h at 71.7 kWh
  • Battery chemistry is chosen by model code — sa for sealed lead acid, a for lead acid, i for lithium-ion or LFP
  • Up to 10 Power Nodes in parallel, raising both total power and distribution reliability
  • System Control Unit (SCU), Energy Management System (EMS) or Master Battery Management System (MBMS) depending on model
  • Supports an energy trading platform between users on the network
