EV2C-series — Dual-port Charger for Two EVs from One Point
Two 7 kW Type 2 cables that switch between cars on their own, on the existing meter
Overview
The EV2C-series takes a 220/230 Vac single-phase supply and delivers 7 kW at up to 32 A over two 7 m Type 2 cables. It manages the pair two ways: sequential charging fills one car and switches to the other by itself, and alternate charging swaps between them every 2, 3 or 4 hours. Three models: EV2C-7K carries a Type 2 socket for an existing charger, so a single-port unit becomes a dual-port system; EV2C-7KC is the home and workplace unit, with an LCD and app control; EV2C-7KE adds Ethernet and connects to the EVREX platform to run as a public charging point. The IP65, IK10 enclosure protects against over-current, over- and under-voltage, over-temperature, ground fault, short circuit and lightning, with an emergency stop and both a 30 mA AC and a 6 mA DC RCD.
