Overview

The LEONICS MPPT Solar Charger 1500Vdc is a newer model for direct DC-coupled PV systems, connecting solar to battery without two stages of AC inversion, at 98% efficiency.

  • Rated 50, 100 and 150 kW, plus a 125 kW model in the 1500 Vdc class · maximum power 55, 110 and 165 kW
  • One to three MPPTs by rating · up to 160 A PV input per MPPT on SCM, 110 A on SCB
  • 1500 Vdc models take 500–1,450 Vdc of PV into a 550–1,500 Vdc battery · 1000 Vdc models work across 200–950 Vdc
  • Up to 98% maximum efficiency
  • DC coupling connects the array straight to the battery DC bus — no separate solar inverter and no second AC conversion stage
  • IP20 cabinet for indoor installation, IP44 for outdoor
  • 483 mm rack width · 30, 60 or 90 kg depending on rating
